Radius Fractures

The radius is one of two bones that connect your elbow to the wrist. The radius may fracture from any accident where the force is placed on an outstretched hand, which can happened from a fall or a car accident. You will experience pain, swelling, bruising, and inability to move the arm. The goal of treatment is to identify the fracture, reduce the fracture to its normal position, and place a titanium plate to allow the bone to heal.
